Hi all, I’m April! Michelle and I have joined forces and created a partnership in business (photography, of course). Together we are able to offer so much more to our clients. My emphasis will be on photographing families, children, and newborns. Together we will cover Seniors, weddings, and whatever else we need to do. We both have so many exciting ideas and look forward to taking this business to the next level. There will be a blog post EVERY day… so make sure you come back to see what we are up to. Our name will be changing to XpressionsPhotography so don’t be alarmed when you see the change.
So, for those of you who don’t know me… I am April Cooper and have started doing photography as a business this past year. (You can check out my work at www.aprilcooperphotography.com) I also work part time as a Labor & Delivery nurse. I have been married for almost 12 years and have 2 beautiful little girls… Emma is 5 and Sophia is 14 months. Needless to say, my life stays very busy.
I am very blessed with some fabulous friends and today I got to photograph my long time friend, Janie. We have been friends since high school and have shared a lot of fun times. She is 8 months pregnant with her second baby… and is keeping the gender a surprise until delivery. I, personally, could never do that. I love surprises but I like planning more… but thats just me. So, today I drove up to Kernville where Janie and her family live and took some pictures of her pregnant self. It is so beautiful up there and through the canyon right now! Everything is so alive and green… and wildflower will be blooming soon (woohoo)! Anyway… check out a few of the pics I took today.
There is just something beautiful about a pregnant woman. Love it. :)

There are a few new things coming up that will be changing.. I am going through a whole new rebranding process, everything will be changing very soon. I am going to start shooting and booking more weddings so if you know anyone that was recently engaged send them this way Also CONGRATS if you were one of the lucky ones to get engaged this Valentines day. Theres so much to come, I have been extremely busy with valentines photos lately love xoticlyou.com! Thanks to all my awesome clients can’t wait to shoot with you all again! I was told today that I would be deleted by someone if I didn’t post anything tonight so I thought I would say hello and I am still alive.

Wow, what an aventure Dave and I had. I want to THANK Jessica and Chris for allowing us to be apart of their day. These two had a wedding that most of us dream of. It was a BEAUTIFUL day, skys were blue and the water was clear. For anyone that has not been to Cabo San Lucas before its a must. I am sooo GLAD that I was able to conquer my fear of flying, I had already missed two great weddings last year to my fear. Here are a few of my faves from their day.
